I remember meeting Nick and Brittany last year and liking them immediately and I was so glad to be a part of their big day. They tied the knot one rainy Saturday in Apex and everything was beautiful. Here are some images from their big day. Also, big thanks to my second shooter Penny for second shooting with me!

Details, details, details! If you don’t like details you might want to skip over this post Sheena totally outdid herself and no detail was spared at The Cotton Room. Of course, when I heard the colors were going to be pink and gray months before the wedding I knew it was going to be fabulous! Sheena glowed and Eric was all smiles and the day really did go perfectly. Thanks again to the bride and groom for allowing me to share such a special part on your big day!

I seriously wanted to bring Kendall back home with me. What’s not to love – he plays the drums, loves football, and adores his little brother Caleb. I seriously can’t wait to shoot these guys again soon!

Here are a few of my favorite shots from my session with Danea and her family. In addition to being one of the most amazing dance teachers you will ever have the opportunity to learn from, and owning Dance etc., she just welcomed a new little girl to the family. Everyone just adores Natalie, including big brother Gavin!

Cindy got married! (Well, she actually got married a little bit ago, but I’m still celebrating because I’m wayyyyy behind in editing.) I was so excited to shoot this wedding and seeing one of my dearest friends get married was such a treat. Aside from marring a super sweet guy, she really had the perfect day – great weather, good friends, awesome family, and everything was gorgeous! Take a quick peek at some of the images.

So, anyone who has talked to me recently knows my new favorite subject is little Ava. After I did Janie and Bobby’s maternity session I was counting down the days until I could start spoiling her! She (finally) made her first appearance on Cinco de Mayo and I think I’ve been smitten since I first got the ‘she’s here’ phone call that afternoon.

It was love at first sight when I saw her – I mean, how can anyone not love this cute little peanut?!

I snapped this little candid image of Janie and Ava together and I love it. To see the look of pure happiness on Janie’s face is truly priceless and, well, I get a little teary each time I look at it.
