All I can say is OMG….
- Burger King now has a signature scent, Flame. That’s right – if you love to smell like whoppers then this is for you! I seriously thought it was a joke (just check out the site and the sound effects), but then I realized that it is actually 100% real – and sold out!
- Sad news – Kodak might be getting ready to bite the dust! They just had another
huge round of layoffs and now they are discontinuing 401K matching shutting down all employee voice mail! You know times are tough when people can’t leave a message! I still actually shoot film so I hope things bounce back for them!
- Amazon did not turn a profit for the first four years of business! They were founded in 1997 and their first profit turn of 1 cent per share was not reached until Q4 of 2001. Last year, in 2007, their US profit alone was $14.8 Billion. Maybe we need to use their early business model as a way to weather this tough economy.
