As a person who craves dressing up just to wear cute shoes, it has become a ritual to totally spoil myself every year on my birthday and splurge on my obsession. Normally I would have several choices picked out, order in September, and by October 11th I would be dying to wear them. This year I was crazy busy – I even shot a wedding on my big day! – and for some reason I was only reminded of my yearly ritual when my co-workers (whom I love!) send me a gift certificate to Zappos. Talk about heaven!
So now I’m stuck trying to decide. I admit that I have a slight problem because I am one of those crazy people totally willing to endure hours of pain in exchange for shoe-cuteness. Now that I work from home (every day!) and it’s hard to even get out of my sweat pants it is hard to not pick something practical. But then again, what’s the fun in flats? Fall is for cute boots, right?!
I absolute LOVE these, but all the reviews say that they are painful. What do you think? Is it worth the risk!?
