2008 is turning into an interesting year. Seems like I am outgrowing all of my old habits – like spending hours shoe shopping at DSW and Nordstrom and lusting over the color pink. Instead my hours have been filled with house hunting, wondering why yummy lychee mohitos can only be found at Sushi Blues, and even more time wondering why my walls only bare one framed poster.
I’m really trying and have even started spending chunks of free time on etsy looking for inspiration to hit. Unfortunately I have found too many things that don’t cohesively mix… oh, and this great shop. Neither has produced any awe inspiring decor and the more and more that I look at houses I realize that I need some serious decorating help! I wish I could say that I just walk into Homegoods and find these great amazing things, but honestly I just feel lost. I wander the isles looking for something fabulous to jump out at me, but to no avail. In fact, I’m starting to seriously get worried! So, if there are any designers out there looking for a challenge, please send them my way!
